Come try out a team tournament at CHP on the weekend of the 3-6 Oct 2019. Registration is limited to the first 48 players to sign up!
So what is it? The team tournament will see eight balanced teams formed by the organizers, from the tournament entrants. Teams will vie for a trophy and cash prizes. Every team will play three matches.

Teams will have a minimum of four and a maximum of eight players each depending on registration. Teams will be set up in a playing order based on rating and will include a woman and a junior if enough sign up. Teams will be formed to ensure that they have similar average and total team ratings.
Teams will be assigned a court on which to play a team engagement in a four hour window. The players at each level will play one match. Teams are awarded 5 points for a win, and points for the number of games won in the case of a loss. Tie breaks are – the number of games won and if still tied – the number of points scored by each team.

Snacks will be provided on Saturday and Sunday and a cash bar will be available on afternoons and evenings.
Matches will be refereed by players.
