Squash NS is your “go-to” organization for the sport of squash in Nova Scotia.

We are your link to squash players, clubs, leagues and tournaments across Nova Scotia, the Atlantic Provinces and Canada. Our mission is to promote squash to all ages by raising funds with which to provide programs that support the development of clubs, volunteers, coaches, officials, and athletes of all calibers. We keep you up to date on the rules, governance, policies and procedures here in Nova Scotia and across the country.

Membership Classes and Benefits

Associate – Free. Benefits:

Non-Voting Membership in Squash NS
Access to a Club Locker account, which includes a Basic North American Rating if matches are recorded in Club Locker
Not eligible to enter tournaments or leagues without paying an additional fee of $10 per event
Inclusion in the Squash NS database and mailing list
E-Subscription to Squash Player Magazine https://squash.ca/member-promotions/[1]

Competitive – $30. All Associate member benefits plus:

Voting Member of Squash NS, including eligibility to hold office
Supplemental sport and liability insurance when participating in sanctioned activities
Eligible to enter Squash NS sanctioned leagues and tournaments
Eligible to enter tournaments sanctioned by Squash Canada and other provincial and territorial associations
Eligible for selection to High Performance programs and competitive teams representing Nova Scotia in regional, national and other competitions[2]
Officials are eligible to be considered for nomination by Squash NS to officiate at tournaments sanctioned by Provincial, Territorial, national or international squash governing bodies
Coaches who comply with Squash NS Licensing requirements are eligible to coach in NS and benefit from insurance, subsidized coach development activities, and eligibility to be nominated to SC or WSF teams as a coach
Discounted access to Squash NS officiating and coaching certification program offerings
Discounted access to Squash TV (33% discount on SquashTV subscriptions)^[3]

Competitive Out of Province – Free

Temporary membership to play in SNS Sanctioned tournaments for people who live and work out of province and are members of their provincial squash association.
This membership class DOES NOT allow inclusion in Squash NS Rankings or to play in Squash NS sanctioned Leagues.

Discounts

Club Bulk Discount – Clubs who commit to including a competitive membership to Squash NS in their membership fee and pay that membership fee to Squash NS on behalf of their members and provide to Squash NS the names and contact information for their members in an acceptable format will benefit from a per person discount in that fee. Please contact Squash NS to arrange.

Individual Discounts:

Full time Students (U26) and Juniors (U19) benefit from a $10 discount on membership fees
Children (U13) benefit from a $25 discount on membership fees
