Updated HSL Registration is open for the 2022-23 season – Registration closes on 10 Sept

Hi Everyone,

HSL registration is open for the 2022-23 season. We are accepting up to 100 players for a maximum of 20 teams of 5. As in the past play is on Wednesday evenings and we are back to the 7-10pm timings. Play is planned to start on 14 Sept.

Please register with your home club if you are playing full time we will aim to have all FT players every week. Canada Games team members please register for the Canada Games team. If planning on being a spare, register as a spare you will have amplepportunity to play.

We are trying something new this year. We will build club agnostic balanced teams from all entrants (except the Canada Games Team. Teams will need to choose a name early to replace the initial team name assignment of T1, T2, T3 etc. For administrative purposes and to continue to have the assistance of club based convenors, we intend to assign each team a « home club ». We will try to keep the number of people from the peninsula assigned to Cole Harbour as a home club to a minimum.  We will still stick to the formula of every team playing each other twice if we can, depending on how many teams we have. Once away and once at « home ». We are going to scrap the division format and play a long format tournament with a round robin style draw leading to a final elimination tournament. We aim to finish at the end of May or beginning of June.
