Exciting play in this morning’s games at the Men’s Team Champs

Well done Team NS! Some great squash, well fought.  I caught part of Douglas’ and James’ games vs Quebec#2 this morning and it was a pleasure to watch some excellent squash live from the Club Sportif MAA in Montreal.

NS fielded the only team from the Atlantic Provinces.  Douglas, James and Josh placed 6/8 with a respectable 1-2 record.  They lost 3-0 to Quebec#1 on Friday, Won 2-1 against Saskatchewan on Saturday and lost 3-0 to Quebec #2 this morning in the consolation Finals.

Douglas faced some formidable opponents,  losing on Friday to Shawn Delierre 7-11, 7-11, 7-11,  to Matthew Serediac 10-12, 6-11, 12-10, 11-3 and 6-11 on Saturday and to David Phillips 10-12,  9-11 and 2-11 today.  Well done!

Josh faced off against David Baillargeon on Friday losing  4-11, 3-11, 6-11,  He defeated Jason Gelowitz on Saturday 11-8, 11-6, 12-14 and 11-7 and lost to Eric Dingle 7-11,  6-11 and 7-11 today.  Great effort!

James played against Quebec#1’s Jason Delierre on Friday losing  5-11, 3-11, 5-11,  He defeated Chris Tunnicliffe from Saskatchewan on Saturday 11-8, 11-8 and 13-11 and lost to Sebastien Boucley from Quebec#2 11-7,  10-12, 11-9, 5-11 and 4-11 today.
