Women & Girls in Squash

At Squash Nova Scotia (SNS), we are committed to promoting the participation of women and girls in squash by providing safe and inclusive environments across our affiliated clubs. We believe that fostering such spaces is essential for the growth and enjoyment of the sport among female players. Below, you’ll find a list of squash programs tailored specifically for women and girls in Nova Scotia. 

SMUfit Ladies Squash Night

The SMUfit Ladies Squash Night is a great intro-to-squash program perfect for any women and girls who are new to the squash or looking to get back into the sport.  

Sessions include a dynamic warm-up at the beginning, squash instruction, new squash balls, referee clinic, organized drills, and recreational tournaments are held in December and in April with prizes. 

When: Sessions run from beginning of September until end of April every Monday from 7pm to 9pm 

Where: The Homburg Centre for Health and Wellness on Saint Mary’s University campus 

Registration fee: one-time flat fee of $20 + HST for full 13 week program both in the Fall and Winter sessions (Note non-SMUfit members must also purchase a day pass upon entering the facility)
