Squash Nova Scotia is proud to announce the formation of the province’s first-ever permanent Junior Provincial Squash Team—a major milestone in building a strong future for the sport in our province. Inspired by successful programs in other regions, this initiative creates a clear development pathway for young athletes and strengthens the pipeline of competitive junior squash players in Nova Scotia.
Led by long-time player and coach Josh Rudolph, the team was selected following January tryouts and includes 16 of the province’s top junior players, ranging in age from 8 to 18. These athletes will train together monthly, receive strength and conditioning support, and are expected to play competitive matches at least twice a month. Many will represent Nova Scotia at events like the Ontario Junior Open and, looking ahead, the Canada Winter Games in 2027.
With this team, Squash Nova Scotia is investing in long-term athlete development—fostering passion, performance, and provincial pride. Congratulations to all the selected athletes!
