Annual General Meeting & Social: Friday May 10, 2024

The Squash Nova Scotia AGM is tonight at 7 PM, at the Duke’s Public House (2057 Gottingen St. Halifax). The social will follow at 8 PM, featuring DJ Steve Nurse & DJ Jeff Stephenson. Minors are welcome until 9 PM. Squash NS members & guests are welcome, and finger food will be served.

KCSC 902SquashEd Tournament for Education May 31-June 2

902SquashEd is pleased to once again host the King’s County Squash Tournament for Education. Proceeds from the tournament will go towards students in the 902SquashEd program that plan to attend post secondary education next year.

The tournament starts on Friday May 31st  at 5pm for local players, and 6pm for out of town players.  Tournament Division finals play out Sunday afternoon June 2nd.

The tournament provides a sweatshirt, snacks all weekend, Jamaican Theme lunch on Saturday by RnB Kitchen, and a Saturday evening Social at Paddy’s pub in Wolfville.

Nova Scotia coaches selected for international event

Nova Scotia coaches Janet MacLeod and Josh Rudolph  have been selected by Squash Canada to support Team Canada athletes at the 2024 Battle of the Border. The competition will take place August 1-4 at Niagara-On-The-Lake, Ontario.

Squash NS is pleased to announce that our Annual General Meeting is scheduled for Friday, May 10, 2024 @ 7pm at The Duke’s Public House. All members are welcome and encouraged to attend.  A social will directly follow the AGM at the Duke’s.

Strategic Plan 2024-2027

The Squash NS Board of Directors and the Sport Nova Scotia Organizational Effectiveness team have been hard at work developing the Squash Nova Scotia strategic plan for 2024-2027. The plan has now been approved and will take effect this year. This strategic plan outlines specific actions that will efficiently allocate resources, time, and effort in order to achieve goals that benefit the NS squash community.
