Squash Canada is pleased to announce the addition of Emily Hall to the position of Programs and Communications Coordinator effective Monday August 29, 2022.
“We are very pleased to welcome Emily to the Squash Canada team”, said Director of Sport Development Geoffrey Johnson. “She brings relevant experience at the national sport level to help bolster our capacity as we continue to deliver on a very ambitious strategic plan to grow the sport of squash.”
Emily Hall – Programs and Communications Coordinator
Emily comes to Squash Canada with a vast amount of experience working with national sport organizations and professional teams in areas of operations, community outreach and membership, communications, and more. She graduated with a Master of Arts in Sport History and Culture from De Montfort University (England), a Graduate Certificate in Sport Business Management from Algonquin College, and a Bachelor of Arts Honours in History at the University of Guelph. Her love for sport began at a young age while playing soccer in her community and has grown into a deep appreciation for the cultural and developmental importance of sport to society.
“I am beyond thrilled to be starting this next chapter in my career with Squash Canada as their Programs and Communications Coordinator”, said Hall. “I look forward to applying my unique line of education, vast experiences, and new perspectives to the role – very excited to grow with Squash Canada!”
As Programs and Communications Coordinator, Emily will be responsible for providing coordination and administrative support to a cross section of Squash Canada’s inclusivity, diversity, equity, safe sport, sport and membership development programs, events, and communications.
